Prototyping a rover

It's been a while since I have posted anything here, but I have been in the meantime productive. This is also a post carnage post, a tough, challenging but amazing year and  as well as having just officially graduated I have also recently been nursing an injury that has made things like typing a little complicated and slow. However, I have decided to delve back into coding and computing while I have some time before going back to work (I am a teacher, so Christmas breaks are to be well used for personal and dual professional pursuits), hone my skills and use all the spare parts left from CH4RL13 (see previous posts) and further explore physical computing. Without delving too much into the whole concept, the basics are that I am prototyping a remote controlled rover. It is currently using basic materials and also found materials, but it is a working concept in terms of its mobility for now. Check out the video below:

It probably  needs beefier motors for what I have in mind and power options to match. In the meantime, I need to start jotting down a proper schematic for it, so I don't get too lost in the cacophony of wires to come while prototyping. It is nevertheless a project I am very excited about as I am keeping all my possibilities open on this one.

Until next time,

Luis
